On Tuesday, November 6th we will be closing our Men’s and Women’s Locker rooms for a complete renovation of the space. We are excited to be undertaking this project to improve your experience at the Emilson YMCA!
Working with several local vendors, the remodeling project includes:
- All new wall tile and floor tile
- Replacement of shower valves & fixtures
- New locker room flooring
- New benches, mirrors, shower & bathroom dividers
- New painting of entire space
We anticipate that this project will take 6-weeks to complete and will reopen the locker rooms sometime during the week of December 17th. No other program areas will be affected by the renovation.
LOCKER ROOMS WILL STILL BE AVAILABLE TO YOU
During the remodeling project, the Emilson YMCA Girls’ and Boys’ locker rooms will be open for our adult members to use, as well as the Family Locker room area. Additionally, as a South Shore YMCA member, you may choose to use our other locations:
- ZoneWellness, 141 Longwater Drive, Norwell
- Quincy YMCA, 79 Coddington Street, Quincy
We apologize for any short-term inconvenience created by the renovation project, and we look forward to providing freshly refurbished locker room spaces for you soon.
